Offensive lineman commits

Appalachian State added more size to its football team Monday, when Tyler Norris announced his commitment to the Mountaineers via Twitter.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound tackle officially visited Appalachian State and much like several others that made the trip to Boone, he left extremely impressed.

The Mountaineers' coaching staff has been going strong down the stretch, picking up three new pledges over the weekend in Desmond Franklin, Devin Papenheim and Anthony Flory.
Norris gives App State a talented prospect that flew under the radar over the last couple of months, particularly after a December commitment to East Tennessee State.
The Dobyns-Bennett standout helps add quality depth to Dwayne Ledford's offensive line that lost a number of upperclassmen following the team's inaugural season in the Sun Belt.
Stay tuned for more on Norris.
