Edwards named national POW
BOONE, N.C. — On the strength of a school-record 291 rushing yards in Saturday's 45-24 win at The Citadel, Appalachian State University quarterback Armanti Edwards earned National Offensive Player of the Week accolades from The Sports Network and Southern Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors from the league office on Monday.
