Offense outduals defense in open scrimmage

BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State held its first open scrimmage of the spring Saturday morning, and the Mountaineers' offense put on a show for those in attendance.

The Mountaineers had solid performances from several young players, including running back Tysean Holloway and wide receiver Sean Price among others.

Appalachian's veteran offensive players showed up to play as well, with quarterback Jamal Jackson, running back Rod Chisholm and receivers Tony Washington and Andrew Peacock giving fans a glimpse of what they are capable of doing with the ball in their hands.
