Wins have not come easily for Appalachian State this season. In fact, only one game on the schedule was a runaway win, and it came against a lesser North Carolina Central squad two weekends ago. The good news, however, is the Mountaineers are, no matter how ugly the victories have been, doing enough to maintain an unbeaten slate in Southern Conference play.
