Weekends in January frequently turn up news of commitments. In fact, for Appalachian State, post-official visit weekends typically result in verbal pledges from numerous top prospects. What's been a little more rare over the last several seasons is receiving commitments from guys that have not made it to campus yet for official visits.

That happened twice this past week with commitments from Beau Nunn and Taylor Lamb.
