Appalachian State head football coach Scott Satterfield has had a busy first 15 days of his tenure as the leader of the Mountaineer program. Just hours after being introduced as the school's new head coach, Satterfield was on the telephone informing his top recruiting targets of his hiring.

Moments later, he was back in his car traveling to Georgia for the state high school championship games and a chance to put the ASU name in front of some of Georgia's best prospects.
