Spring Review: Quarterbacks
Spring football practice came to a close Tuesday evening and Appalachian State will now place its focus on offseason workouts and summer preparations.
The 2011 version of spring took on a much different tone than in recent years, as an entirely new offensive coaching staff, along with two new faces on the defensive side of the ball, roamed the practice field for the first time.
That, coupled with an obvious hunger to gain redemption from last season's struggles, fueled a highly energetic and intense 15 days of practice. The Mountaineers entered spring practice after posting their worst record (8-4) since the 2004 season when the team went 6-5.
